Below are answers to the most common questions about Eleven. If your question isn’t covered here, use /support to join the official Discord for help.
There are several possible causes:1. You’re not in a voice channel Join a voice channel before running /play. Eleven always joins the voice channel of the user who triggered the command.2. Missing Connect or Speak permissions Check that Eleven has Connect and Speak permissions in both:
  • Server Settings → Roles — Enable for Eleven’s role
  • Channel Settings → Permissions — No overrides denying Eleven
3. Voice region incompatibility Some voice regions may have connectivity issues. Try changing your voice channel’s region in Channel Settings → Overview → Region Override.
Channel-level permission overrides take precedence over role permissions. A green checkmark on the role isn’t enough if the channel has an explicit deny.
The skip button and More (settings) button require an active vote or premium subscription. To vote:
  1. Visit https://top.gg/bot/1277525844319014955
  2. Click Vote
  3. You’ll get 12 hours of access
Premium users bypass the vote requirement entirely. See Premium Overview for details. After voting, try the button again. If it still doesn’t work, wait a minute for the vote to register.
Fairplay mode is a democratic queue system that ensures fair turns for all members:How it works:
  • Queue automatically rotates between different requesters
  • Skip, seek, and remove are restricted to the track owner or mods
  • Pause, resume, stop, and clear are mod-only
  • Shuffle, loop, and previous are fully disabled
  • Playtop and queue reordering are mod-only
Who counts as a mod:
  • Anyone with Mute Members permission
  • Anyone with the custom Fairplay mod role (set via /fairplayrole)

Premium removes the vote requirement from gated features and raises your library limits. It comes in two forms: personal premium (follows your account) and server premium (activated on a whole server).Premium isn’t self-serve — plans are purchased through a support ticket, not an automatic checkout:
  1. Join the support server with /support
  2. Open a ticket and tell the team which plan you want
  3. Complete payment as instructed in the ticket
  4. Once confirmed, check your status with /premium
See Premium Overview, Plans, and Activate for full details.
Eleven improves based on what users report, so feedback is always welcome.Feedback and feature suggestions:
  1. Join the support server with /support
  2. Open a ticket and describe your suggestion or feedback
The team reviews every ticket, and suggestions can directly shape what gets built next.Reviews: Leave a review on Eleven’s Top.gg page at https://top.gg/bot/1277525844319014955. Reviews help other server owners discover Eleven and are one of the best ways to support the project if you don’t want to purchase premium.
Bug reports also go through a support ticket — see the next question for what to include.
Audio quality issues usually stem from:1. Voice region mismatch Change your voice channel region in Channel Settings → Overview → Region Override to one closer to your members.2. Low bitrate Increase channel bitrate in Channel Settings → Overview → Bitrate. Recommended: 128 kbps minimum.3. Network issues Check your internet connection for packet loss or high jitter.4. Server load During peak hours, shared Lavalink nodes may be under heavy load. This is less common but can occur.
Try switching voice regions if choppy audio persists. Some regions have better connectivity to Eleven’s hosting infrastructure.
